Beginning and end points of trips
The beginning and end points of the trips on offer are provided in the relevant descriptions.
We will be happy to assist you in planning how to get to and from Cagliari or Olbia.

Food
The local Italian-style breakfast consists of a cappuccino or latte and a sweet croissant, jam, butter and bread.

During the tours, half-board is usually offered (dinner). Dinner consists of three courses, unless stated otherwise. Drinks must be paid for separately.

Have you developed a taste for Sardinian cuisine? If so, discover the secrets of Sardinian cooking on one of our cooking courses.

Bicycles / equipment
We offer high-quality bicycles for rent with an on-board computer and luggage bags if necessary and an emergency kit. Groups are provided with the same brand of bicycle if possible. There is limited availability for real women’s bicycles.

You can bring your own bicycles along. If you reserve in advance, airlines will transport your bicycle relatively cheaply. Simply contact the airline for further information.

Noise
Italy is louder and often more lively than home. In the summer months, life doesn’t begin until after 10pm. Official occasions generally end after 1.00 am. Private parties can go on for a lot longer, however.

Group reservations
A reduction of 3% is offered for group reservations of over 7 people.

Cooking
The cooking courses are offered independently by Italian and English-speaking chefs from the "Sa Prenda" hotel. You will experience traditional, Sardinian cooking from the Sulcis region at the Sa Prenda hotel in Villa San Pietro.
To participate in cooking courses please obtain a doctor’s certificate from your family doctor. This certificate is absolutely necessary.

Navigation, GPS
On request, we may be able to provide GPS data for a route. Garmin files can be transmitted if necessary.

Cycling tours
We will mostly be travelling between different locations on our cycling tours. These tours give you the chance to experience a wide variety of areas and places.

On the accompanied tours, you will be carrying a light piece of luggage with supplies for one day. We will transport the rest of your things. This means you can stop anywhere you want without having to worry about your luggage and get the full effect of the cultural and scenic highlights of the tours. The tour guide will describe the route each morning, and in addition he or she will provide you with all the maps and information necessary for the day. He or she will also arrange meeting points and provide you with drinks and snacks (to be paid for) or help with any punctures. If you absolutely cannot continue, it is possible for up to two people to travel partial stretches in the accompanying vehicle – at their own request and with an exclusion of liability.

You should be experienced, with a good level of fitness and be fond of a challenge.
All bicycle tours are challenging over certain stretches. Sardinia is a mountainous island. The only notable level sections are located in the central valley between Oristano and Cagliari.
The daily distances vary between a minimum of 35km and a maximum of 74km.

Wearing a helmet is obligatory. In the interests of hygiene, please bring your own cycling helmet.
